New Vice President of Human Resources Jeannie Thorne

Miami, FL (May 23, 2023) Elevate Aviation Group, with its expanding portfolio in aircraft charter, management and maintenance, has named Jeannie Thorne to lead the process of building the company’s elite workforce. She is the company’s newly appointed Vice President of Human Resources.

Experience Needed As Vice President of Human Resources

Thorne brings an exceptional background in workforce optimization with a focus on making key data more visible to support decision-making. In previous senior management and consulting positions, she has helped companies grow, while creating workplaces where diverse perspectives are valued and respected.

“We are uncompromising about the skilled professionals we hire and retain,” said Randy McKinney, Elevate Aviation Group’s President. “Jeannie will help us maintain these industry-leading standards as we grow past the roughly 200 employees we have today. We are fortunate to have her experience and talent.”

Thorne joins from BrightView, the nation’s largest landscaping and snow management company, where she was Senior Director, Human Resources. She has also served in leading HR roles with a global travel and expense management consulting firm and with NetJets where she had responsibilities for employee relations, performance management, succession planning, learning and development initiatives, and additional projects.

She has consulted with many mid-size companies to aid in organizational development, change management, employee engagement and workforce planning.

Thorne has a B.A. degree from Otterbein College in Speech Communication. When she isn’t shooting three-pointers (from a human resources perspective) on behalf of Elevate, she is coaching youth basketball.
