MIAMI, FL, October 17, 2023 – Following the recent announcement of $10M earmarked for investment in its growth strategy, Elevate Aviation Group (EAG) announces the establishment of an AOG facility at Miami-Opa Locka Airport (KOPF).
"This announcement begins a series of upcoming moves our team at Elevate has planned to expand our footprint to service our clients first and allow potential new ones to experience the Elevate brand," remarked Randy McKinney, President, Elevate Aviation Group. "The facility will initially feature a fully equipped and experienced AOG team with the ability to deploy throughout area airports in South Florida."
The region's high volume of business aircraft activity, combined with the thriving aviation community at OPF, makes this an ideal location to support owners and operators with our proven AOG services. Elevate's MRO teams are recognized by fleet operators, aircraft manufacturers and individual owners for their exceptional AOG services throughout the greater Rocky Mountains and West Coast regions of the United States.
"Miami-Opa Locka airport is an ideal location to invest as we continually improve Elevate's platform. Our managed aircraft owners frequently visit or base themselves from South Florida," shared David Allen, Chief Operating Officer, Elevate Jet. "This new facility allows us to grow our hangar resources to better serve new aircraft in the future."
Initially, the EAG facility will include experienced technicians, parts, and tooling to rapidly respond to those needing maintenance services, including timely AOG situations.
"With our success in providing AOG services, it was logical to expand to this area. The facility will be staffed with expert technicians who are trained and experienced in servicing light jets to heavy jets across all the major OEMs," said Jim Slack, President of Elevate MRO. "We look forward to providing the Miami metro area with the Elevate client-first experience from charter and maintenance to sales/acquisitions and management."
