As an aircraft management client, what reports can I expect?
Each month, you’ll receive a statement itemizing all of the financial activity associated with the aircraft management services applicable to your account. Moreover, our records are available for your inspection any time, and we will provide any reports you need relating to aircraft maintenance service, engine cycles, or other activity related to your aircraft upon request.
Can my private jet be chartered?
Yes. Private jet charter is a great method by which to offset ownership costs. However, some choose not to take this avenue because they don’t want others using their jet. The decision is yours, but we can certainly offer advice based on your personal needs, wishes, and financial objectives. We can also go over potential tax advantages to chartering your jet. If you opt to charter, you’ll maintain control over the flight schedule so that it doesn’t conflict with any personal travel plans you have.
Do I have to use Elevate Jet-sourced jet crews?
No. However, if you do not bring your own crew, Elevate Jet can recruit pilots, flight attendants and other crew and support personnel, such as specialized private jet maintenance mechanics without any extra cost to you. Meanwhile, you retain the freedom to deny any personnel who is assigned to your private jet when it is being chartered or used by you personally.
Does Elevate Jet have the capabilities to tend to all of my maintenance, repair, and inspection requirements or will I have to get my aircraft services elsewhere in some cases?
As one of the few FAA Certified Class IV Repair Stations in the Intermountain West, we are able to handle all your maintenance, inspections and avionic repairs onsite.
How and when can I access my aircraft?
You can call us 24/7 or just simply send us an email to schedule a flight.
How do I choose an aircraft management company?
Choosing an aircraft management company is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Instead, this choice is predicated on the owner’s needs as well as the reputation and experience of the company managing the aircraft. The selection should also be based on the aircraft model and desired operating base.
How much does it cost to maintain a private airplane?
Some of the ongoing costs with owning a private jet include maintenance and repairs, hangar rent, fuel, and crew staffing. While costs are dependent on the type and age of the aircraft, they generally range between $500,000 to $1 million annually.
If I choose to charter my plane for offsetting revenue, how do I know it will be available for my personal use?
Working closely with you, we’ll establish a detailed management and flight profile and schedule charters around your plans. Even if you have unexpected travel needs and require your private jet immediately, we work with a number of partners to fulfill charter requests, allowing us to use a different aircraft than yours.
What are the maintenance requirements for a private aircraft?
Private jets require scheduled and unscheduled maintenance to offer a safe flying experience. In addition to maintenance and repairs, aircraft undergo a variety of calendar and hourly inspections typically set up on 12-month intervals and/or 200-, 400-, 600-, or 800-hour intervals.
